Lets Rewind.

Yay Friday!
Recently, I dove in to the family photo's. We literally have several buckets of them.
It's one of my favorite pastimes. I love the fact of knowing someone your whole life, and not exhisting without them, yet they've lived part of a life without you.
The fashion aspect is pretty groovy too.
I'm a Momma's gal, and my Momma's Momma's gal.
I can't even to begin to list my respect for them.
Anything from snapping peas to my first Rocky Horror Picture Show viewing is included on my "respect list".
I'm so lucky to have such beautiful women in my family.
So naturally, I felt it all too appropriate to share.

Oh- and of course I needed proper music for the setting.
I was accompanied by the likes of Bow Wow Wow, Madeline Peyroux and my current favorite:

Gotta love Siouxsie and the Banshees

This lovely song by The Generationals is on repeat these days. How fitting for the mood.

Lets begin.

This is my fabulous Mother. And her equally fabulous little dress.

Yep, I NEED THAT BIKINI!

Thanks for the outfit idea, Momma!

I just felt the need to post this of me and my mom with my first pony, Sandy. He was crazy as hell!
We were quick to go back to actual horses.

Ah, here she is, Eloise, my beautiful and sassy Grandmother. Yet another outfit I must have. I get to thinking about her around this time of year because her birthday is around the corner.

I love the simplicity of this. I never realized how artistic she was until she passed.
Incredible writer and a bombshell in front of a camera.

This is my Papa, Rudy. Eloises husband, with my Aunt Cathy. This picture really does make me homesick. I daresay I shed a tear over how beautiful this one is.

Ooh yes, this is Eloise's father. He was an amazing photographer. All of them are so great, that I feel it needs to be a weekly blog special. :]

This one is just a taste of his incredible eye.

And I must add that I am also incredibly and deeply attatched to my sister, Brittni. However, her 40's style was non-existent and her 80's style was a bit toddler-ish for me :]
Lovelovelove.

Happy weekend!
