Hullo my sweets.
I must admit, it is pret-ty obvious that music
runs this little fun-house I call my mind (fun-house includes body and soul).
But a little fun fact: I lovelovelove history!
So when the two mix, I seemingly turn in to an animated character
who then forms her body in to a rocket, in which said rocket shoots to the moon.
So.......
I decided to bring forth some of these great songs.
And it seemed the most fitting era would be the 18th century?
You'll see why.
Now, let's begin!
Ahhhh.....Falco. Kinda cheesy, but a classic!
You don't have a King and Queen without Guards do you?
Didn't think so.
Plus, may I add that this is one of the best albums I've heard in a while.
Also, at the bands link above, you can listen for free!
Wolf Gang cannot do wrong by me. Their song "The King and All of His Men"
is more appropriate for this post, however, I couldn't find a proper link for it.
Ah, just the term "Heads Will Roll" drips with revolutionary times!
Oh man, Adam Ant makes me so happy. Those drums!
"Kings of the Wild Frontier"
I often find myself waking up and thinking, "now what can I wear to look like Adam today?"
Three things that makes me happy:
1. It's Phoenix.
2. The album title is relevant, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.
3. The fugue-style solo. FUGUE!?
You can't get much closer to the 17th-18th centuries without a fugue!
And finally, I will say that my heart is most dedicated to Mr. Ludwig van Beethoven.
Seriously, I got inked for that guy!
So yes, Mrs. Antoinette, I will eat cake!
