Sunday Mercy.

Why hello there!
My trip down here in Georgia, now currently
Florida, has been most satisfactory.
I apologize for no pictures yet, but
they're a comin!

So far, I've probably had more boiled peanuts than my
body weight.
I've snuggled, with my sister and niece.
I mean a lot of snuggling.
I have such a beautiful niece, Kennedi.
Where has the time gone? I remember when she
was wrapped up like a little burrito, now she's
swimming all by her self and oh! using the big girl potty.
Also,
I've been sunburnt for a while now.
But that's not getting me down!
St. Augustine is so beautiful!
I suggest everyone see it in their lifetime!

I also got to get back up on a horse for the first time in
4 years on Monday and Tuesday.
I went with my cousin, Ashlee and
I would like to thank her so much!
I got to see her daughter, Kinlee ride her pony.
Kiki's only 3 and she is so talented at it!
I am so blessed to have such an amazing family!

Today however, my cousin, Brian, and my
 brother in law, Joey,
skipped their usual fishing excursion to join the ladies back
home on this lazylazylazy Sunday.

Ha! Nothing much exciting today!
So I am glad I got a chance to sneak in a quick
post.

Just a Quickie.

Ahhhhhh,
just a few little hours before I
fly out of this town.

Not much on my mind, just pre-flight jitters.

So naturally, I'm listening to music to calm me down.

Therefore, I share:

Angus and Julia Stone's Big Jet Plane has been in my head
since I booked my flight over a month ago.

This video for In the Sunshine by A B and the Sea is so uplifting!

I would love to submerge myself in to this oddly humorous
video by Charlotte Gainsgourg featuring Beck, Heaven can Wait.

This song has never grown old to me. I love Lenka!

Blow Away, by A Fine Frenzy is so great!
It's one of those, 'makes-the-world-prettier' kinda tunes.

Allllllll right kiddies.
I feel I've covered a music fix enough for this post.
xoxo.

The Basics: Beating the Heat.

I am nearly done with packing for my
much awaited trip to
Florida/Georgia.

I'm no stranger to the muggy south
and I feel I am very much prepared
for moisture, bugs, heat, oh and BUGS.

Don't worry babies, I've got you covered (or rather, uncovered)
from head to toe.

Let's begin.

I have recently invested in Revlon's Just Bitten Lipstain
first in the color "twilight" and it worked so well
I knew I should get a good red from it since it lasted so long!
So I picked the color "gothic".

It's great! No smudges, and when it does eventually fade,
it doesn't leave a red ring around your lips. It just turns a luscious pink.
And by the way, I have tried some of the other "best selling" lipstain's and Revlon's really is the best!

So, who want's to bother with doing their hair, only to be consumed with
the frizzies from damp air?
Well pull those locks off your neck and stay breezy in
a sweet headband like this one I bought from

Now, for the torso.
I know I will have to resort to
wearing tee's. So I've stocked up
in unique print/colors like this from

If you look closely, you will see that it's a zillion little
cream colored dots. Mmmm.... dippin' dots......
Sorry.

And since I'm keepin' things light and airy here,
I'm not letting a big bulky purse weigh me down!
Therefore, I'm opting for a light, cross body bag
like this one from Banana Republic
that equally gets the job done:

Mmmmmk, so shoes.
This is a hard one guys.
Obviously, anything open and comfy.
However, for me, I find my
blue Keds most sufficient.

I also found adorable new prints like this on the site:

Ok, when I was a kid, I had this awesome pair of
jelly sandals. I never took them off, in fact, I was playin at the beach one day
and decided to walk around the shore.
When I came out of the water, I had no jelly sandals on.
In that event, I am just now buying myself
a new pair, at 20 :)
However, I warn against wearing them in water, because the tide will
eat yours too.

These adorbs little jellies found at Kohls.
Do you see the cutecutecute bow on the side?

Now, I also reccomend anti-frizz hairspray and/or serum,
bug spray, sunscreen and a bigbigbig smile!

Fuel for the Week.

Hey!
Ok, so in one week from today,
I will be flying out for vacation!

I will be bouncing between Florida and Georgia
with family.
So I get to see things like this:
(Taken last year, off the coast of Georgia)

AndAndAnd
I get to see these precious little faces:

My beautiful Nieces,
Kennedi and Kinlee

So, to get my mind in check for this wonderful, much needed,
(and if I daresay, much deserved..)
vacation, I bring you a list of incredible coastal/nautical picks:

The Anthem for any coast:

You know anything with an anchor on it is
a definite yes!
Love the baby blue on this volcom tank.

Shorts like these from Ron Jon's does double the work by
keeping one cute, yet they're comfortable and strong (and long) enough to serve as
a key piece to wear out on the boat.
(Not yachting night's either people, i'm talking chum.)

This incredibly lightweight and cheap windbreaker

This adorable tie back top from

This rope halter dress from shopbop
is perfect for transition: a crazy day of running errands to
a family cookout at night

And to top the nautical-pie off,
some Sperry shoes.
The practicality and comfortability of the shoe is great, yet
the shimmery color makes it that much more
lovable!

Here's to the week flying by fast!

Also, I know I suggested The Beach Boys, however,
here's one I know my family will appreciate:

Ready, Willing, and Able.

Ever have those nights where you can't help but be
unproductive?
For me, that was tonight.
I was incredibly motivated by Raphael Saadiq to
be unmotivated.

It's a lounge night.

So I felt the need to bring you some items to
further inspire laziness....

Blanche Dubois, the lacey drama queen
shows every woman has a right to girly indulgences.

I absolutely adore intimate sets and lounge wear like these from
I couldn't choose just one!

The cuteness and the affordability of
this romper from Forever 21,
makes it a double deal!

And since one wouldn't bother with doing hair on
a lazy evening, it makes this head wrap from
all the more tempting.

So, what is it for you?
Ben and Jerry's?
Looking up kittens on Youtube?
Watching A Walk to Remember again?
It's ok,
(because I've already done the second).

Fuel for the Week.

MondayMondayMonday.
Here so soon?

I hope everyone's weekend was full of wonder =)

Now here are some things that are making my week worth while,
hopefully it will for you too!

Cults are ruling my world right now!
I love their capability to be enjoyed by almost anyone!

I'm loving the site The Burning House, which features pictures of the
select items a person would choose in the event of their
house catching fire.

What would you choose?

I'm loving the editorial over at Opening Ceremony
featuring these insanely bitchin' (and expensive)

I am totally digging these rings found over at

These beautiful pieces found over at tushtush's etsy page:

Here's to your case of the Mondays are getting better.
